I'm a summer baby through and through - there's nothing better than driving home from celebrating with one of my couples, windows down, music blasting, wind blowing through my hair.
My love affair with photographing love started early. My grandfather was a hobby photographer who spent countless hours taking family photos and putting them in albums for each of his grandkids. I still pull mine out and flip through it when I'm feeling nostalgic - it's amazing how photo albums stand the test of time. I followed my heart to art school, and here I am 5 years later with a super colorful closet, my own business, and dozens of happy couples whose love I've been honored to capture.
I may be a small-town girl, but my happiest places are where the people are; whether it's scream/singing along in the front row at a Hanson concert, or catching that tender kiss at the end of the aisle. And I'll take any excuse to travel, especially if it's somewhere warm and near the water . . . destination wedding in Aruba, anyone? ;)
When not doing photography, you'll find me: at the gym. No, really! I can walk up to 10 miles on any given day during wedding season, so I need to stay in shape.
My go-to outfit when I'm not wearing "wedding photographer black": Combat boots with a floral dress. Gotta love mixing it up.
My favorite wedding cake alternative: Donuts. All the donuts. But especially sugar coated or topped with some Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups®
